Cleanup groups photos using smart AI detection.

Here’s how it works:

🔁 1. Duplicate Photos

These are exact copies of the same image.

Example:

  • You downloaded the same photo twice

  • You saved a WhatsApp image and then AirDropped the same one

  • You backed up photos and ended up with duplicates

Duplicates are completely safe to remove.

📸 2. Similar Photos

“Similar” photos look alike, but aren’t identical.

Example:

  • Burst shots

  • Multiple selfies with slightly different angles

  • 2–5 pictures of the same scene

  • Screenshots taken back-to-back

Cleanup helps you review these so you can keep the best ones.

🧠 How Cleanup chooses recommended photos

Cleanup looks at:

  • Focus

  • Sharpness

  • Face detection

  • Colors

  • Duplicated composition

  • Motion blur

The app suggests which photos might be better to remove — but you always control the final choice.

🛑 Cleanup NEVER deletes automatically

You must confirm every selection before anything is removed.

⭐ Tips for reviewing Similar Photos

  • Tap each group to compare images

  • Deselect any photo you want to keep

  • The “Best” photo is marked to help you choose
